From a friend: I’ve been (inconsistently) starting my day with a morning ritual, lighting a candle, and repeating this Metta Sutta called the Amaravati Sangha about loving-kindness. Here’s a brief version:
May all places be held sacred
May all beings be cherished
May all injustices of oppression and devaluation be fully righted, remedied and healed.
May all wounds to forests, river, deserts, oceans, all wounds to Mother Earth be lovingly restored to bountiful health.
